Judith Diaz,PMHNP-BC
Judith Diaz is a psychiatric nurse practitioner specializing in adult psychiatric and chemical dependency care and has logged over 20 years in the field. She began her career in health care by completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing locally at California State University, San Bernardino, and then earned her Master of Science degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Mo. She holds national board certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as an Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner serving the mental health needs of adolescents and adults. . She incorporates holistic care; the provision of care to patients that is based on a mutual understanding of their physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. In addition, holistic care emphasizes the partnership between nurse and patient and the negotiation of healthcare needs that lead to recovery. She is open to helping clients explore the benefits of alternative (therapeutic touch, EFT), complementary (lifestyle changes, exercise, yoga, meditation, hypnosis) as well as traditional interventions(therapy and medication support).
